Carola Emrich-Fisher, MM
Carola is a mindfulness coach, frequent workshop facilitator and lecturer, as well as a professional mezzo-soprano and teaches several science-based Mindfulness Approaches, such as MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and MSC (Mindful Self-Compassion), MfM (Mindfulness for Musicians) and MfS (Mindfulness for Singers). Carola adheres to the BAMBA (British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches) good-practice guidelines and was trained at Mindfulness UK under Karen Atkinson. Carola has worked closely with Rosalie Dores (Mindfulness Network) in supervision and has been teaching mindfulness for over ten years, to performers and musicians as part of their vocal or stage training, as well as the general public. She has presented lectures for AOTOS (Assoc. of Teachers of Singing) and teaches for MusicFest Aberystwyth. Carola offers online and in-person mindfulness classes, workshops and silent retreats. She is also a second-degree Reiki practitioner (Usui method). Carola says “I believe everyone can learn how to meditate and that mindfulness can greatly enhance wellbeing, reduce stress and anxiety. I love working with people and accompanying them on their journey – in any setting.”

Deepen Your Practice
Mindfulness Refresher Course on three consecutive Saturdays for those seeking a more regular mindfulness practice and those wanting to deepen their mindfulness practice. Mindfulness for Musicians – Saturday, October 16, 2021, 10-11am (Live Online)
In this one-hour session, you will find out how mindfulness practice can enhance your instrument practice, teaching and performance.
MBSR Course: Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
Eight Weekly Live Online Sessions (2h each) Accredited and scientifically-proven techniques to reduce stress, reactivity, anxiety and discomfort and increase calm and equanimity. Friendly and confidential atmosphere. Small class size. Mindfulness may not be suitable for persons with severe past trauma and breathing difficulties.
