Carola Emrich-Fisher, Mindfulness Coach, MMus

Carola is a mindfulness coach, frequent workshop facilitator and lecturer, as well as a professional mezzo-soprano and teaches several science-based Mindfulness Approaches, such as MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and MSC (Mindful Self-Compassion), MfM (Mindfulness for Musicians) and MfS (Mindfulness for Singers). Carola adheres to the BAMBA (British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches) good-practice guidelines and was trained at Mindfulness UK under Karen Atkinson. Carola has worked closely with Rosalie Dores (Mindfulness Network) in supervision and has been teaching mindfulness for over ten years, to performers and musicians as part of their vocal or stage training, as well as the general public. She has presented lectures for AOTOS (Assoc. of Teachers of Singing) and teaches for MusicFest Aberystwyth.  Carola offers online and in-person mindfulness classes, workshops and silent retreats. She is also a second-degree Reiki practitioner (Usui method). Carola says “I believe everyone can learn how to meditate and that mindfulness can greatly enhance wellbeing, reduce stress and anxiety. I love working with people and accompanying them on their journey – in any setting.”

Mindful Mondays Hybrid Sessions Are Back!

Whether you have attended Mindful Mondays before or not, whether you are a master meditator or novice: all are welcome! Drop out of autopilot and into the experience of the present moment with this brief, gentle secular mindfulness meditation. Take some time out from the business of your day to just be. Online Silent Retreat Sunday, October 9 2022, 4-7pm UTC

Three hours of nourishing mindfulness practices in silence. Frequent breaks and opportunity for sharing and inquiry at the end. Open to all who have some meditation or mindfulness experience and recommended for graduates of an eight-week mindfulness course (such as MBSR or MBCT). Experience longer mindfulness practices in the comfort of your home in friendly silence and community. £30/$35


MBSR Course: Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

Eight Weekly in-Person Sessions (2h each) on Mondays 6-8pm in Stoke Newington, N16. Accredited and scientifically-proven techniques to reduce stress, anxiety, emotional overload and discomfort and increase calm and equanimity. Friendly and confidential atmosphere. Small class size.
